What a fabulous trip the museum was delightful and our guides friendly and informative. Not forgetting the volunteers who fired up the steam driven equipment and the staff in the cafeteria. Would recommend a visit.
Really good day out. If you take your time and read and look at all the exhibits it's a full day. On our visit they had the steam engines running as well as the narrow gauge railway.
Really knowledge staff. Do talk to them and ask questions. They have a wealth of information and history to tell. There is a free car park. Cafe and toilets. They cater for disabled visitors with a lift installed to vist the top floor. Large collection of historic bricks, which is a lot more interesting than it sounds!
A hidden gem. The history of brick making on site and working engines. Event days have even more to see. Compact cafe on site.
It's a great museum which we didn't no about till today. It is definitely one to visit if your local
This was a brilliant escape room experience. It was so much fun. We were a group of friends who shared varying talents and we all loved the challenge which did make us work together and pool our resources. We would all thoroughly recommend this experience. A big thank you to Jonathan our amazing Games Master. We will be back for your up and coming new escape.
If you like bricks you will love this temple dedicated to their creation. Interesting display of the finished product and the manufacturing process. Good onsite café and good parking facilities and fairly good for limited mobility visitors. An industrial museum worthy of a visit
A blast from the past, for those of a certain age. I especially enjoyed the Penny Arcade, which brought back many childhood memories. I understand the arcade machines are a private collection. A lot of time must have been spent maintaining these, especially as any broken parts would have to be re-made, as spares would not exist. Look out for Harry Corbett and Sooty, so strange to hear his voice coming from an animation.
The first visit is absolutely brilliant .took out a year's subscription.
